After the lively revelations of Yule, January can often feel a little bit flat. It's quiet and we tend to ponder what we need to leave behind and what to take forward.

In America and the UK we look at garnet for these birthday. A Garnet stone is a great stone for safe travels. It is said to aid a broken heart and heal broken bonds of love. It's also a great stone for depression. January babies are also twinned with rose quartz and pink tourmaline.
Moons of January
The full moon of January is known as the cold moon, ice moon and wolf moon. As the first moon of the year it marks a powerful time for healing and new beginnings. Its power can be used to gain prosperity, build strength and foster protection. It marks a time to work with our inner power to develop a sense of who we are and to find out who we really are and what our place is in the web of existence.

Tip
Add a rose quartz dragon or crystal skull to your collection for January if you want more loving change in your life in 2024. Put them outside during the full moon and while wearing silver, black or white, howl at the moon and ask for change to happen.
You may wish to bring offerings to Goddess Hecate, Inanna, Freyja or Morrigan to help give ou the strength to facilitate change this year.
Lastly prey to Mother Wolf. Ask her for the strength to run alone or to find your pack for a truly wonderful year.
