High Priestess of the Rose feels an overwhelming title at times. I retrained in this with Mary Magdalene to remember our many lifetimes together before where I served the earth.
When I was first told of her and my modern yet gnostic path, I was confused. I mean, I’m not religious and in Catholicism Mary had been branded a prostitute (like many strong women through time).
Actually, Mary is the ultimate symbol of faith, a seer like no other. Mary Magdalene is a mistress of the awakened heart, a devotee of pure exalted devotion, a midwife to our individual soul’s authentic remembrance and a doula to soul death, rebirth, baptism and communion.
The Rose Medicine is all about the heart
In all her colours and glory she has been revered for eons - The Rose Path is said to be that of the priestess the one who speaks the language of the earth , who lives between the worlds and guides others through life’s transitions with her wisdom of the mystery schools , astrology , sacred oils , and plant medicine.
She was always the wise woman and the oracle - over time her presence diminished, but all over the world there has been the meek ones in the backgrounds quietly doing their work, following the way, doing the inner work .
There has been a shift an end of a cycle now.
For a while I have seen buzz words of ‘priestess’ or ‘energy worker’ increasing that many are called to and claiming a new identity through. Certificates of provability are on social media yet this means so little. Indeed the world needs more light but the work starts with self !!
If not …..
This leads to fragmentation and fakery where some have not inherited the language of the earth or the way … and people can lose faith then in this so called medicine and it can be labelled as woo / woo or dangerous . And yes that is out there - we all have a choice based on our own vibration but no one should ever be hoodwinked intentionally.
Be discerning , a few weeks of training in different energy modalities does not ground the true medicine , it takes years of remembering , healing and faith in true magic of your own body’s own ability to heal itself , to know Thyself and speak the language of the soul.
Remembering is different to learning. It brings peace to the soul. A reignition. Your gut will tell you if you’re on the wrong path and your karma will show you if you exploit it.
Sometimes it's hard - I get overlooked and devalued as I don't have a coven or haven't written a book or don't shout loudly but actually that's ok. I like being one of the quiet ones, making changes from the inside out, away from the discomfort of the spotlight.
Indeed, I was once taught that the real ones don't advertise. The greatest oracles live in caves or off grid; you find them through word of mouth not Facebook adverts.
Just like the rose 🌹 who has thorns for a reason - we should chose who we share our light with , and no longer give ourselves in sacrifice for others to drain from !!!
